I'm a 26 year old apprentice philosopher, whiling my days away in academic exile in Peru, IN (the little town from which there is no escape) while waiting to go to grad school. In the meantime, I work, eat, sleep, babysit my godson, make a valiant attempt at writing my great American satire, try to count how many angels can dance on the head of a pin, and all in all sit on my fat ass watching movies and/or reading. I hate Bush, love sarcasm, and live for music, movies, books, food, and occassionally video games. And of course contemplating the mysteries of life, the universe, and everything.
To summarize the summary: I'm an on-again off-again poet, practicing satirist, consummate procrastinator, quintessential Gemini, cynical optimist (the belief that things won't necessarily get better, but they could always be worse), agnostic Taoist, and chronic caffeine fiend (the folks at Starbucks love me).
